Epic Northern Thailand Motorcycle Adventure 🇹🇭🏍️

Join me on an unforgettable 4-day motorcycle journey through Northern Thailand, riding some of the most spectacular roads in the country. This video series follows the full route from Chiang Mai – Mae Sariang – Mae Hong Son – Pai – and back to Chiang Mai, covering legendary mountain passes, jungle roads, cultural encounters, and endless curves.

Day 1: Chiang Mai → Mae Sariang
We depart Chiang Mai and ride into Doi Inthanon National Park, stopping at the stunning Wachirathan Waterfall before climbing to Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest peak at 2,565 meters – the “Roof of Siam.” From there we tackle steep, twisty mountain roads, pass through farmland and pine forests, and finish the day in Mae Sariang for a well-earned meal and reflection on an incredible ride.

Day 2: Mae Sariang → Mae Hong Son
One of the best riding days you’ll ever experience – curve after curve through breathtaking mountain scenery. We stop for lunch in Khum Yuam and visit a WW2 museum highlighting the town’s historical importance. The ride continues through endless twists to Pha Bong Viewpoint, overlooking a dramatic gorge, before arriving in the beautiful Shan town of Mae Hong Son, nestled in a mountain valley. Sunset views over the Himalayan range and dinner with local Shan food cap off the day.

Day 3: Mae Hong Son → Pai
A day packed with unforgettable experiences. After breakfast, we travel by boat along the Pai River through dense jungle to visit the Long Neck Karen tribe — a truly unique cultural experience. Back on the bikes, we climb high into the mountains to a historic Chinese village on the Myanmar border for lunch, then cross high mountain passes with spectacular viewpoints before arriving in the laid-back, hippy town of Pai.

Day 4: Pai → Chiang Mai
We begin with a stop at the historic WW2 bridge over the Pai River, then ride scenic high-mountain roads with refreshment stops along the way. The journey continues down through the countryside, past elephant and rafting camps for lunch, before completing the final ride back to Chiang Mai, closing the loop on an unforgettable adventure.
