I found this lil guy at a flea market in the middle of the North Woods of Wisconsin 😂 it looked like it had been left outside for 20+ years. I originally offered him $5 and he countered with $25. We eventually settled on $7 but I left feeling like he should’ve paid me to take it since it was in such bad condition 😂😂😂 I was honestly stunned how well it came out!

Here’s how I restored it 👇🏼
sanded off old finish with 120 grit & scraped with carbide scraper
filled chipped veneer with plastic wood filler
applied 2x coats of oil based wipe on polyurethane (wipe off any excess, sand lightly with 220 grit in between coats)
hid repairs with blendal sticks
sealed repairs with satin lacquer

Ta-daaaa!! An easy beginner friendly DIY for restoring wood furniture and veneer!! Nothing against paint, I just suck at it and it tends to devalue furniture. Plus this is easier for me lol 😂
