Hello :)
This is the requested transcription I've done of the Van Morrison song "Tupelo Honey" from his 1971 album entitiled the same. Bill Church was the bass player on this track.
You can find this transcription at Muzento when you sign up with an Intermediate Lesson Plan.
This is a really nice song to play. The tempo is not too fast, it's got a nice feel, and it can all be played in one position. A song like this can really bring out the musicality in you. It gets you thinking about dynamics, rhythm/feel, articulations, and listening to the rest of the band.
I have to mention that I tuned my E string down 30 cents. I know it sounds crazy, but that's what I did to try and match what he was doing. If I left my E string at 440, it sounded off in my ears. Let me know if you hear the same.
I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to "like" and "subscribe" and thanks for watching :)
