4 days Wild Camping and Exploring the Isle of Gigha, Scotland .

Todays video is 4 days Exploring and wild camping on the beach using the Nordisk Telemark 2.2 Lw and also camping by the sea in the camper van

The Isle of Gigha is a Community owned island , which is the most southerly of the Hebridean islands .
it is Seven miles long by a mile and a half wide ,Gigha is situated 3 miles west of the Kintyre Peninsula less than three hrs from Glasgow and only a 20 minute Ferry from the mainland .

Gigha has something for everyone from exploring the coastal paths and stunning white beaches to the Famous Achamore Gardens .

The new camp site was only a few days from openeing , in fact it opened the day after we left .
we spent all our time on the North side of the isand exploring the twin beaches and the northern beaches looking over the sound of Jura to the larger islands of Jura and Isla . I was exploring the coves around the north using my kayak and discovered a perfect spot beautiful white sands with its own palm tree .
Nordisk Telemark 2,2 Lw was the tent for tonight perfect and light for hiking around the headland to this location . so much more Icould tell you about Gigha now my favorite location , I hope you enjoy this film which is just ashort taste of what is on offer lovely food and wonderful gardens .
