Ozark Roads & Walmart Nights: Van Life Gets Real 🚐🌧️

Day 5 of our van life road trip opens with a moody evening drive through the winding roads of the Ozarks. As I navigate S curves, rising humidity, and uncertainty about where I’ll end up, I decide to skip the original campsite and find a last-minute place to crash for the night.

Motley Rue and I wake up the next morning in a Walmart parking lot — a little damp from leaving the windows cracked overnight due to the muggy heat. She enjoys some time on the grass while I get ready to try my luck with an earlier oil change next door at Walmart. It’s not glamorous, but it’s real van life.
