As you hear each word spoken in Portuguese, there is sufficient time for you to repeat the word out loud once or twice. Try to guess the translation on the first time. Then you hear the word in Portuguese twice more, giving you a chance to repeat it again, and then to truly memorize and let it sink in.

This video has 20 basic vocabulary and introductory conversation words and short phrases in Portuguese. This is the first in a series of general language learning videos.
