While I assumed we’d see a steady climb in quality to a peak around Season 5, I am sad to report I think Season 4 is a bit of a letdown compared to the latter half of Season 3. Alexis mostly manages to stay out of brown fur purgatory, but she’s placed in short hair solitary far too often—that and… capes. There are more capes in this season than in the entire MCU.
As an individual of simple tastes, I prefer sleeves because sleeves end in cuffs, and cuffs are… necessary.
I hasten to point out that this is still an exceptional amount of fur fashion even by 80s standards; it’s just, when set up against the rest of the show, it falls quite short of “peak” for me.
Taste is also rather subjective, of course, so if you are a fan of short hair, brown, and capes, I have got a season for you!
