Hello my friends! We set off for Beaufort NC and on to the Cape Lookout light house. Man what a trip that was. Tides in the wrong direction wind in the wrong direction. But we plowed through. Once we got to the ditch everything changed to our favor. We set the main and averaged 5-6 kts down the ditch and even hit 8 kts a few times with just the main up. On our way back from Cape Lookout we almost went aground several times and lost our dinghy. Crazy day on the water.
