Last year, at Bellini Foto Srl, we experimented with the revolutionary 'maseiinverso' kit, using my Air Force 8x10 to create 8x10 direct positive portraits on simple black and white printing paper. In this session, the kit allowed us to achieve incredible results and direct positives without going through a negative. I also discussed this truly innovative process in issue #00 of Large Format Diary (my semiannual magazine dedicated to large format photography), where Nick from the @the120ist channel provided some really useful tips for mastering this technique.
