Masinagudi to Ooty| Wayanad | Kerala Winter Ride | last day | Tamil

Dec 19th (Day 7) Wayanad - Masinakudi - Ooty

Next day explored very little of Wayanad and started to Ooty, because my full interest was to ride in the reserve forest road and wanted to feel the real winter. The road was very pleasant to ride due to the condition and tea estates on the sides. Finally reached Masinagudi and started driving in 30 kms speed with my mobile ready to witness the wild. I sighted 2 elephants one at the road side and another at the other sides of Moyar River, also sighed few Deers and Monkeys.
There were 37 dangerous hairpin bends to reach Ooty and it was very challenging and great experience (first time), finally reached Ooty at 4 pm and took a Room. Then visited Karnatak State Horiculture garden and enjoying the sunset there. All other places were already visited in Ooty in my previous trips.
My plan to Ooty was to only enjoy the real winter which I did not feel in Kerala. At night the weather goes up to 8 Deg and I buried myself into the blanket.

Dec 20th (Day 8) - Ooty - Coonoor - Avinashi - Salem - Ulunthurpet - Tindivanam - Chennai (Home)
Next day morning I started from Ooty at 10 am, did shopping and started getting down on the other side of the hill and reached home by 10:45 pm.
Note : I skipped Munnar, Kumarkom, Allepey since this has been already explored in my previous short trips.
