(note yes ik,I am few days late again)
1 July 1973,the day where SBS(Singapore Bus Services) was formed,merged by 3 Operators to formed a single operator to aim better operation.
Originally in full Red-White livery,SBS was dominance at all areas until TIBS came in 1983.
It then had it's other nickname,SuperBus which is used for the Tri-axles double Deckers when they first came in.
It remained that way until 2001 when North East Line was awarded which lead to the rebranding to SBS Transit,the purple operator that we know today :).
SBST may not be my favorite PTO but I do admit,they gave a great compatition to SMRT and welp, thanks for bringing a fun rivalry of our childhood :D
(ik I didn't type much here cause a lot I alr talk about in the 50 and 51 years vid so ye)
