While Jesus was preaching God's word to them, four men arrived carrying a paralyzed man on a mat. They couldn't bring him to Jesus because of the crowd, so they dug a hole through the roof above his head. Then they lowered the man on his mat, right down in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw how faithful they had been, he said to the paralyzed man, "Son, your sins are forgiven.
God has bestowed immense love for humanity, love so rich and pure, measureless and strong. Such is manifested in all nature around and in the humiliating death of Jesus (God's only son) on the cross. In the same way, He wants man to extend this love to fellow humans and Himself.
