Highland Folk Museum, Newtonmore

The first of our wee Highland Tour videos after the successful recovery of my footage. Cheers tae Kevin for being a huge help with that.

We made a stop in Newtonmore at the Highland Folk Museum en route to Inverness. It's such a great set-up, especially for weans as they can get in about how a thing was done in the past, dress up, and experience an immersive wee day in among houses of the type our ancestors would have lived and worked in.

A bonus of this stop was the ability to meet Gordon, the dad of my friend and colleague Dave, who proved to be super knowledgeable about the museum grounds and the history behind it. He helped us get as much from it as possible despite the short time we had available.
