Decided to do a League of Legends fan art in Substance Designer, turned it into a tutorial!
I had a ton of fun with this one as it's sort of outside of the standard tileable, had lots of chances to show off some cool sculpting inside of Designer and how to about approaching some of these more chunky shapes and gradients.
In this video we're going to go over how I made the stone shapes and damaged them procedurally along their edges - Talked through building out the grass blades and how to do some custom placements. We also talked through how to get some more visible paint stroke effects including how to render the water
