Experience the togetherness and the beautiful decorations that transform this coastal paradise into a magical wonderland. I take you through the streets filled with dazzling decorations and the spirit of togetherness, as locals and tourists come together to say Happy New Year to you all.

Upon a dark winter evening in the tropical land of Goa, I jumped into a taxi and headed out to the churches and temples. My mission was to discover the differing cultures and the peaceful lands that Goa has to offer. It was wonderful to witness Christianity and Hinduism side by side, as I explored both the cribs and the Krishna temple. As we head into 2025, it is apparent that times have certainly changed. It was beautiful to witness such love and peace as two different religions could blend together their goodness and create diversity.

Back in resort, the cultural blends of Portuguese, Indian and British culture merged together this new year and therefore created a cultural melting pot. What a time to be alive...... to be living in a world where animosity and segregation are now diluted, whist cultural mergence is more apparent.
