We hosted our first Lived Experience Practitioner Conference on 7 November at Bromley United Reformed Church.
Led by Amy Wattingham, our Lead Lived Experience Practitioner, we shared successes and achievements, as well as through the years and discussed experiences of mental health service users in employment along with the benefits and challenges.
Mental health and wellbeing for staff was a key area of focus and whether there was anything we could be doing better and how we could improve awareness of the support available.
Workshops in the afternoon centred around topics activities including: non-violent resistance in adult mental health, ‘Recovery through Art’ and co-production.
