Here is my first 2 sessions from Anchor Point in mid-January. Swell was 8-9 feet or something and the mornings were epic, it was pretty solid. Although there was a HELL of a LOT of people. Go Pro always makes the bigger days look smaller unless they barrel, but that's fine with me. Reference the shots from land for scale! The french euros were out in packs these days controlling the Je Mapelle Peak with force. I was out alone, and a group of wanted to fight me for sure hahaha, je suis no hablo. Solo surf sessions in a crowd are great though, still got some fun ones!!! Left this crowded town of Taghazut after 2 days to find a little more peace and quiet further down South, which there is a lot of in Morocco. Just not in the morning during prayer, ha! Thanks to the locals for sharing some of your beautiful waves with me. Endlessly grateful to have gotten 2 and a half weeks of swell, friendly vibes (from locals anyway) and sunshine.
