I have recently found this tape lurking away in a box It shows the two austerities plus a brake van from Foxfield At Llttleton colliery on the Friday prior to the main Gala event which took place on a weekend.
The day and the month escapes me 23 years latter but it was just before the pit closed. in 1993
The shunter's were due to knock off at 1300. But we had a collection and raised £25 for each man who agreed to stop till 1600
These clips are as it happened and have not been edited
