I'm an emergency medicine physician and potter. I've been doing pottery in some way shape or form for the last 20 years and I have accumulated a lot of pottery on my shelves, much of which I usually just give away.
In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, I'm hoping to sell some of that pottery and donate the proceeds to a charity that will help protect physicians and nurses who are working tirelessly to care for our community. The money collected from the sale of the pottery will go to a charity called Direct Relief (DirectRelief.org). That charity works to equip physicians and nurses with personal protective equipment, which N95 masks, surgical masks, gowns and gloves to help take care of patients in need. Check out my Etsy store!
