Dart frog Tadpole Development

My bumblebee dart frog (Dendrobates leucomelas) tadpoles are growing up! It has been fascinating watching the tadpoles develop. Dart frog tadpoles require somewhat different care than many other species of frog tadpoles, as they should be kept separately, as they can be cannibalistic. Watch my tadpoles change from a tiny creature hitchhiking on a parent’s back to a colorful, four-legged froglet with a tail!
