Hey beautiful friends, my super grandma taught me the best method ever to fall asleep quickly, and it works like magic every time.
She always said the key is to relax both your body and mind at the same time.
Her trick starts with deep breathing: inhale slowly through your nose for ten seconds, hold it for four, and exhale through your mouth for another four. While doing this, she told me to imagine a peaceful sheeps in a farm,than she count them.
But the real secret, according to her, is to focus on letting go of tension, starting from the toes and working up to the head. She calls it melting like a candle. As I lie in bed, I mentally tell every part of my body to relax, one by one: toes, legs, stomach, arms, neck, and face. It feels like a wave of calm slowly takes over.
She says if thoughts try to sneak in and keep me awake, I should just let them pass like clouds floating by, without holding onto them. No need to chase clouds,she’d say with a smile.
After following her advice, I rarely stay awake tossing and turning. Thanks to her, I now sleep faster and deeper, no matter what kind of day I’ve had. Grandma’s wisdom really is the best,trust me.
