🌑 “To the Women Who Comment Under My Goddess Work”

🪞Before I begin,
let me breathe.
Because I am not here to fight you.
I am here to teach you
but only if your spirit is open,
and your fear is willing to loosen its grip
on the story you were handed as a child.

To the woman who wandered onto my page,
saw Hekate’s name,
and decided I was “spreading confusion,”
let’s talk.


1. “Confusion” is what happens when a mind meets a truth it never studied.

You think I’m here to spread hate?
No, sister.
I’m here to spread history.
Culture.
Archaeology.
Anthropology.
The stories buried under two thousand years of edits, councils,
and empires who decided what was “holy”
and what was “heretical.”

Confusion is not a sign of danger.
It’s a sign of lack of education.

And that can be fixed 🌀
but only if you’re willing to learn.


2. I know Yashua’s story too. I was raised in it.

I can recite the verses.
I can quote the sermons.
I know the altar, the hymns, the wine,
the way we were told a single man
held the whole world’s salvation.

But I also know this:

Christianity is not the beginning of human spirituality.
It’s not the only lineage.
And it did not appear out of thin air.

Anthropology 101
every religion descends from older stories.

The flood myths.
The dying-and-rising gods.
The virgin birth motif.
The divine mother archetype.
These existed in Egypt, Sumer, Canaan, Greece, Rome
long before the New Testament was assembled.

You don’t have to like the facts.
But you don’t get to erase them.


3. When you tell me “Jesus will save me if I repent,” you reveal your fear not my sin.

You don’t know me.
You don’t know my heart.
You don’t know my path.

But you were taught that anyone outside your faith
is automatically lost.

Fear disguised as compassion
is still fear.

And I’m not here to live inside it with you.

I’m not angry.
I’m not mocking you.
I’m not even surprised.

I’m just done letting strangers diagnose my soul
based on a worldview so small
it can’t imagine a woman walking with a goddess
instead of kneeling to a king.

4. Hekate is not the “devil.” She’s older than the Bible itself.

Let me educate you gently,
because clearly no one in your church ever did:

🩸Hekate predates Christianity by a thousand years.
She guided travelers, midwives, crossroads,
birth and death, healing and protection.

💨She is a guardian.
🔥A torch-bearer.
🔑A key-holder.

Not a demon.
Not a threat.
Not a sin.

But patriarchal religion had to demonize the old gods
to make room for the new ones.
That’s history, not heresy.

5. Women like me aren’t the problem we’re the cure.

I’m not here to spread confusion.
I’m here to spread remembrance.

The remembrance that women once held the temples.
Women once held the myths.
Women once taught the cosmologies.
Women once walked as priestesses and seers
long before male scribes rewrote the world
to center themselves.

I’m not here to attack your Jesus.
I’m here to remind you
that he was not the only teacher,
and he did not erase the divine feminine.

Men did that.
Empires did that.
Fear did that.

But fear is losing its grip now.


6. So let me tell you who I am clearly, calmly, truthfully.

I am Spryte the Emcee.
Witch, writer, anthropologist, survivor,
woman of fire and breath and history.
I carry the stories your pastors never studied.
I carry the myths your textbooks skipped.
I carry the grandmother knowledge
that didn’t survive the councils,
but survived in us
in the daughters,
in the dreamers,
in the women who were never meant to remain silent.

I do not worship hate.
I do not worship ego.
I do not worship confusion.

I worship truth.
I walk with goddess.
I honor the ancestors who were erased
to make room for one story.

And if that threatens you?
That’s between you and your fear.
Not me.


7. If my art shakes your faith, then your faith was built on sand.

And that’s not my fault.
That’s not my burden.
That’s not my repentance.

I am not here to convert.
🗡I’m here to create.

💥I’m here to reclaim.
I’m here to rise.
I’m here to return to the root systems
that long predate any cross, creed, or crusade.

If that scares you?
Block me.
Scroll past me.
Whisper prayers on my name.
Do whatever your spirit needs.

But do not mistake your discomfort
for my wrongdoing.

🔐I’m not the one lost.
🔑I’m not the one afraid.
🖕And I’m not the one confused.

🪞I am simply a woman who knows Herstory... history,
hears Her calling,
and refuses to shrink
so someone else’s story can feel taller.

🌀Blessings on your path
but your path is not the only one.
