How to Create the Base Volume for Building Modules in SketchUp
Creating the base volume is an essential step when designing a building in SketchUp. This step helps establish the foundational shape before adding details. Follow these steps to create the base volume for building modules efficiently.
Step 1: Set Up Your Project
Open SketchUp and start a new file.
Set your units by going to Window Model Info Units and choosing the correct measurement system.

Step 2: Draw the Base Shape
Select the Rectangle Tool (R) and click on the ground plane to draw a base shape.
