An arduous trek to this uncharted land in Kangra Himachal Pradesh. When Mr. Rajkumarji informed me about this highland meadow at 4000M, flanked by this mystical peak called Gorja or Parvati ka Tila, I was intrigued. The mountain was created by LordShiva himself to obstruct the path between Manimahesh & Kailash to prevent devotees from following a short route. At this place, Mata Parvati did her Tapasya and received initiation in many Tantra from Shiva. This flow is apparent as a lesser tradition when we come across many Durga & Devi temples along the region supposed to be land of Shiva. At this very place, I first documented my sadhana of mata bagalamukhi. The trek route also has a natural hot spring pool which lies between an ancient Shiva temple & Durga temple. I hope this video inspires many devotees & sadhak to visit this region & further their practice.
