The Rangeland Production Dataset

The Rangeland Analysis Platform's Herbaceous Biomass model provides continuous annual and 16-day estimates of biomass production for western US rangelands from 1986–present. As you might expect, there is a lot going on behind the scenes with this model.

In this video, we pull back the curtain on the Herbaceous Biomass model and provide a high-level explanation of how it works.
