Everybody thought the Warriors were finished. Too old, too slow, too washed up. The dynasty was dead, the window slammed shut, and Golden State was supposed to quietly fade away. At 37 years old, he dropped 42 points on the defending champions, hitting a game-tying three with seconds left, and taking over in overtime like it was 2015 all over again. In a game where Aaron Gordon had one of the most ridiculous performances you’ll ever see — 50 points on 81% shooting, including 10 of 11 from deep — it was still the Warriors who walked out of the arena with the win. And if you’re sleeping on this team, you’re about to get caught.
