This Challenge Took Me 120 Hours.... (Solo Taniks)

Man its finally over...

What a solo this took me well over 130 hours of straight grinding and I pretty much failed a midterm to try and clear (Don't be me), I will answer a bunch of questions here and any additional questions you have will be answered in the comments. Shoutout to all the people who gave me advice from their clears and stuff mainly ‪@Mariomonkey‬ & ‪@Ysiig‬. Shoutout to Recussant for the 5 gifted when I cleared and my entire twitch chat for motivating me enough to clear. If Flawless is still possible (and Taniks isn't just significantly harder) I will go for it assuming VoG is also not possible

Anyways content wise the next few videos will be dungeon clears Solo Flawless, Contest, low phases of each boss where possible and whatever else comes my way I really plan to grind the dungeon content for a couple weeks while its hot then move back to facts and glitches and How the flawless ended (may change the name) I may even make a video about how I cleared this (How I beat the hardest encounter in destiny 2 EVER) but that is over 80 hours of live stream footage which will take so long to get through

Q Why is this so hard?

A Well its intense juggling 2 cores and keeping up the timers is very difficult and overwhelming at times and I am still not very consistent with it, along with the Fallen Captains who constantly push you around and make it ridiculously annoying, there are also lots of small things like the orb interact cancel which has killed at least 15 runs throughout my time in here. Damage is pretty easy but I didn't look at the rotations they had planned out in the Taniks guide so I lost a lot of damage there and I was also late to damage most times so it made it hard to


Q. Why did it take so long?

A. Learning is the hardest part of the entire encounter and I felt like I couldn't clear even after I had 50 hours in this encounter and some people have cleared significantly faster than me with people saying about 30 hours to clear but I suck I guess it took me like 20-30 hours to make my first damage phase and later on I lost a lot of runs to being bad at dunk cancelling and 5-6's.


Q. Why were you asking for no 5-6 In during the last phase?

A. 5-6's are basically impossible (People have made a 5-6 when taniks is at Blue but there is no recorded 5-6 when Taniks is at Spawn) because the dunks are so far away from Blue or Spawn, and you only have 60 seconds after the suppress, this combined with the stupid shit where Taniks can sometimes cut the time of your suppress meaning it goes from 60 to 45 seconds.


Q. How is this even possible?

A. The Prismatic animation for some reason takes precedence over literally anything allowing you to drop the cores, and then for some reason we are also able to cancel that animation with a acrobat dodge or super this also works with the dunk spots since you can fill the interact bar, transcend and dodge which for some reason deposits the cores allowing you to check which ones are right (It will drop on the ground again if it is the wrong spot)


Q. Why are there 2 delay loadouts?

A. Well both of these loadouts work Verglas creates crystals which will delay taniks from going to his presumed position and Alethymn spawns enough "orbs" in front of taniks that block him from moving to his next position allowing you to lose radiation and time on the no augment buff


Q. Is this still possible?

A. Yes, its possible now because of a glitch where swapping loadouts then immediately popping transcendence doesn't use transcendence allowing us to drop the cores then with a combination of the new rdm reworks we are still able to kill this boss
