🎥 News Avenue Media was on the ground to capture all the vibrant moments from the KZN DSAC International Translation Day – a fun-filled celebration of language, culture, and community! 🇿🇦✨
Hosted by the KwaZulu-Natal Department of Sports, Arts and Culture (DSAC), the event brought together local schools for a day packed with excitement:
🧒🏾 Kids enjoyed dynamic sports like hockey, and challenged their minds with stimulating games like chess and board games.
🎭 We celebrated South Africa’s rich cultural and linguistic diversity, honouring all 11 official languages and the importance of reading and translation in preserving our heritage.
🏆 Learners were recognised with prizes and certificates, proudly received alongside their teachers and parents.
It was a day of joy, education, and empowerment — building pride in our identity while having loads of fun!
