Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition gives Nintendo Switch owners the opportunity to explore a new HD version of Monolith Soft's classic Nintendo JRPG.
The original Xenoblade Chronicles is unique among Nintendo's output for its voice cast, which are almost all British actors, many of them quite renowned, and which use regional British accents rather than sticking to the more globally familiar BBC accent.
The reason for this? Nintendo of America didn't actually want to release Xenoblade Chronicles. They thought that the game would be far too expensive, and wouldn't bring in nearly enough money to justify its translation cost.
Luckily, Nintendo of Europe was far more eager to take a risk on a pricey project, and so, did all the work on translating Xenoblade Chronicles. As such, the translation is aimed at a European audience, especially those in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
But why did Nintendo of America eventually change their minds about releasing Xenoblade Chronicles? Well, we plan on covering that in our next video - provided people actually want to know. So, if this video gets 4000 likes, we'll release a video on Project Rainfall this coming Friday. If it doesn't manage 4000 likes, we'll assume that means that people would rather see a different video instead.
Either way, we're really grateful to you for watching. Have a lovely day!
