An excerpt from a fine quarter peal of 1288 Grandsire Triples on the extremely fine 41cwt peal of twelve at Buckfast Abbey, Devon. Cast by John Taylor & Co in 1935, they sound smashing, go very well and are in a stunning setting. Ringing by a mixed band, quite a few of whom are not used to bells of this weight, so I was very pleased with the standard we produced.
I fell in love with these bells as soon as I first heard them.
