This video shows the initial setup of the WorkBee CNC router manufactured by www.3DPrintronics.com in India. The video covers:-
a. Steps to make the machine ready for movement after unboxing.
b. Downloading and installing openbuilds control software.
c. Checking the X Y and Z axis for movement.
d. Checking the limit switches for correct operation.
e. Homing the machine.
UPDATE # 1 : We now use tingle tensioning system in our machines to avoid leadscrew backlash. Due to this X and Y Motors now use 40mm + 6mm aluminium spacers for mounting in place of 40mm aluminium spacers as shown in this video. Z axis still uses 40mm aluminium spacers for mounting.
This machine is Made in India by 3DPrintronics as per the opensource licence rules. We use genuine BlackBox Controller from Openbuilds as the control box for our machines. However, we are not affiliated to Openbuilds or Ooznest who are the original designers of the WorkBee.
All support for our machines is provided by us here in India.
