Behold the new Fulltone Mas Malo, a distortion/fuzz named after one of Fulltone Founder Michael Fuller's favorite Mexican restaurants!
The Mas Malo is fitted with three matched New Old Stock BC184C transistors allowing the pedal to do everything from crunch tones, singing leads, all the way to howling, compressed, infinite sustain feedback. Packed in a small housing with handy top-mounted jacks, High Impedance input and ultra Low Impedance output, and a nice midrange that cuts through the mix nicely.
The Knobs are V for Volume, D for Distortion, C for Color, and H for Heat. The Color knob is a unique tone control panning from rich warm sounds all the way to Trebly Fuzztones. The Heat knob regulates the Bias of the first transistor in the circuit, and is the reason that the Mas Malo can cover as much range as it does.
We're demoing the Fulltone Mas Malo on a Brunetti Singleman 50 Combo.
