N-01 MAF and N-07, N-08. Active Minuteman sites.

I had some extra time during a visit to Colorado, and I was staying in Greeley so I thought why not go seek out ACTIVE missile locations? For years I have enjoyed old Atlas visits, but this time because I was in the Colorado/Wyoming/Nebraska area why not see what active locations look like. My last time in the area I visited Peacekeeper MX MAF Q-01 and Q-05. I read Wyoming may turn MAF Q-01 into a museum(they did in 2019). I also just read a statement, if N-01 ever gets decommissioned, it also would be turned into a museum. 2 missile museums within an hour or so from each other!?! As of 2016 the USAF plans to operate the Minuteman system until 2030.

**NOTE I am well aware that approaching theses locations may not be the smartest thing to do...I get it! I spent less than 5 min at each stop. I would park in a way they could see my license plate and “SAC” sticker on my back window. I feel I did nothing wrong and did not disrespect land owners or missile security teams. I am a fan of the system and love the history....that’s all. Get over it people.
