Pokémon HeartGold Hardcore Nuzlocke - Bug Types Only! (No items, no overleveling)

Can I beat Pokémon HeartGold Using ONLY Bug Type Pokémon?

Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the first Bug Type Pokémon I find on each route (Species Clause); This includes Pokémon that evolve INTO Bug types, but does NOT include non-Bug Pokémon that evolved from Bug types!
3. Nickname Pokémon

Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4's ace (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
