26th Presidential Export Awards (PEA) Ceremony Guideline - English

• The Sri Lanka Export Development Board is organizing the 26th Presidential Export Awards ceremony under the patronage of the Honorable President, to be held at the end of 2024.

• The Sri Lanka Export Development Board invites exporters to submit applications to be considered for the Presidential Export Awards.

• Through this awards ceremony, we aim to recognize exporters who have made a significant contribution to the economic development of Sri Lanka.

• The best exporters of Sri Lanka for the 2023/24 financial year are expected to be recognized at this year's awards ceremony.

• A total of 14 awards, along with 51 awards in the product and service sectors, are expected to be presented.

• In addition, arrangements have been made to present skill awards for qualifying sectors.

• A distinguished panel of judges, chaired by a retired honorable judge of the Supreme Court, will select the award recipients.

• Exporters have the opportunity to submit their applications online at pea.edb.gov.lk/ by August 15.

• In addition to the online application, this platform provides exporters with all the information they need, including award categories, guidelines, evaluation criteria, and instructions/videos on how to complete the application.

• A trophy and a certificate will be presented to the awardees at the Presidential Export Awards ceremony.

• From this date, they will have the opportunity to use the Presidential Export Awards logo as a marketing tool for a period of three years.

• Therefore, we invite our exporters to submit their applications at pea.edb.gov.lk/ by August 15.
