While the 1945 Columbia two-reeler TWO LOCAL YOKELS with Andy Clyde does exist, I do not have a print or video copy to share. I do have this 5 minute extract of that short which was sold via the 16mm home movie market, here retitled HISS AND MAKE UP (another shorter version of this film was also sold under the title SERVANT TROUBLE).
I added a soundtrack and tweaked it a bit with some video transitions like wipes and dissolves just to make the film flow a bit better than the harsh scene jumps. I also added a title card lifted from a much earlier pre-Columbia Clyde comedy.
I plan to add some Columbia sound effects, but for now, enjoy 5 minutes of what looks to be a pretty slapstick heavy 15 minute two-reel comedy.
