Celebrating my 9th (or is it 10th?) year at this incredible event, I'm here to share the spirit and challenge of running for a noble cause. Held annually on Super Bowl Sunday at 10:00 AM, this race, organized by IRIS, is more than just a competition; it's a statement of support for refugees and immigrants seeking a new beginning in our community.

Event Highlights:

Run/Walk in Person: Experience the vibrant atmosphere of New Haven's East Rock neighborhood with a flat 5K run/walk. Join us next Super Bowl Sunday, February 11th, at 10am for an unforgettable morning.

Virtual Participation: Can't make it to New Haven? No problem! Participate virtually by running, walking, or biking a 5K from wherever you are.

Support Refugees: Go beyond the run by setting up an individual or team fundraiser. Your efforts will help IRIS provide critical services like housing, healthcare, job placement, and education to over 2,000 refugees, asylum seekers, and undocumented immigrants. Let's welcome even more newcomers in 2024!
