5 Breastfeeding Tips

Hi Guys,
This video is for my Future/Current Mothers that maybe breastfeeding or thinking about breastfeeding. I just want to encourage you not to give up, or feel defeated when it comes to breastfeeding. Everyone's breastfeeding journey is different. Skylar did not latch on to my nipple until she was 8 weeks old. Luckily I kept my supply up by pumping just for that reason. According to the CDC only 24.9 % of infants are breastfed exclusively through 6 months. And I guessing that within that number the percentage of black women who breastfeed is even lower. I am not a lactation specialist am am just sharing what helped me. These are my top 5 tips that help me along the way and increased my milk supply. My next videos will be hair videos (Yay).

I am a special education teacher with Los Angeles Unified School district and decided to take an extended leave of absence to stay home with my babies.
