Street Running Maintenance Of Way Train! Train With DPU Working VERY Hard! LaGrange Kentucky CSX

Street Running Train With Weird Maintenance Of Way Equipment! CSX Train In The Middle Of The Road In LaGrange, Kentucky. This is a train with a DPU that is working loud and hard. Light Up LaGrange had just ended when this night train came down the road headed for Louisville, Kentucky from Cincinnati, Ohio. This is the CSX Short Line or LCL. This train came through at 9:07pm and the Light Up LaGrange event ended at 9pm.
I was just getting ready to leave when I heard a defect detector go off on my scanner. It just barely came in so I figured the train was a southbound since the northbound detector is closer and comes in stronger. I heard the EOT chirp on 452.9375 and minutes later I heard the train call out the signal at the south end of LaGrange on 161.370. You can also hear the dispatcher talk to the crew on 161.310 if you want more radio action. This train was 10,400 feet long!
I filmed this train and then left immediately for the long drive home. I have some great videos to post of the Light Up LaGrange celebration. A train came through just seconds after Santa rode by on a fire truck and I got the whole thing on video from the best possible location. That is going to be a great video son!! Don't miss that one. It will be posted in a couple of days. If you could only watch one video of mine, that would be the video. I have to figure out how much to put in the video and decide how long to make it. The video will be over 30 minutes long if I put in everything, including unveiling the new town statue. I got to meet the man who designed it.
LaGrange had a busy day for trains. I was there from 1pm until 9:30pm and filmed 4 trains. That was twice what I was hoping to get. Man, did I get lucky!!
