One session prone foil surfing choppy stormy windswell surf on the AXIS foils ART 899.
The conditions were tricky with a combination of windswells (SE and SW) and a strong rip current creating energy and lumps from three directions.
The windswell was in the 5 second period range creating very uneven and hard to read surface conditions, making it difficult for pumping back out, but great for gliding across sections and connecting sections across the channel.
Rider height and weight: 6'2 and 86kg / 190lbs

Progressive 400 stabiliser (rear wing)
Foilboard: Amos Shapes High Flyer 4'6" x 21" x 3" x 36.5L
This High Flyer has increased thickness and volume to the stock version.
For reference Jeff normally rides a 31L shortboard surfboard.
