Welcome! Join us as we take on our biggest challenge yet, turning a beautiful, long derelict site in Wales into our very own Eight Acre Haven.

In late 2024, our offer to buy this fantastic place was accepted. It is surrounded by a working farm and lies nestled in a beautiful quiet valley in west Wales. The 8 acres have long been used to rear livestock so require a significant investment of time and effort to cultivate it and get it productive. We plan on following the principles of permaculture to achieve this.

We will be doing most of the work ourselves. We plan on providing you with tutorials on techniques used as well as the hugely satisfying before and after type videos that we and you enjoy. We are experienced in renovation but novices when it comes to off-grid infrastructure so welcome learning from you as we go. We plan on incorporating solar, wind and hydro power into our energy solution. We also plan on having a herb & medicinal sensory garden and becoming self reliant for coppiced heat sources by managing our small native species wood - likely to become the inspiration for yet more heritage handcrafts we already enjoy creating.

So settle down and come along for the ride as we set off for the long haul to renovate, build, plant, tend and breathe new life into our self-sufficient off grid homestead.
