The Supermarket Sainsbury's is rolling out an initiative across the country where customers who have a hidden disability can wear lanyards decorated with sunflowers to go about their shopping.
The lanyards alert the staff at the store to the hidden disability and allow them to make concessions discreetly without it needing to be explained to them.
After a successful launch in Barnstaple, the lanyards are making their way to further stores.
