I love Cardfight! It's one of my favorite card games and the first season of the original 2011 series will always hold a special place in my heart. I haven't played the TCG in forever but recently got back into the franchise with Cardfight Zero, so I was inspired to make an AMV about the core storyline of the original series. A lot of the footage you'll notice is from the 2018 series, largely because the 2011 series is only available in poorly compressed 720p footage, and the new series has a bit more dynamic animation. There are some significant plot differences though, so the old footage still had a use. The end result is (hopefully) a cleaner looking retelling of the original Season 1 storyline, focusing specifically on Aichi, Ren, and Kai's dynamic.
