Computer tower build using the Cooler Master 430 Elite, MSI 970a-g45 Mother board, FX-4100 cpu, and the corsair H100.
@klucha2008 The first thing that I did to the case was cut out the raised grates on the top, make sure to keep the metal strip between them because you will be drilling into this. Due to the spacing differences between the stock fan location and screw holes on the radiator there were some holes that needed to be drilled. I kept the stock fan locations on the case and mounted the radiator to the front screw holes. The front set lines up well but neither of the four rear set will. I made a guide and drilled the new hole locations. These are just to secure the radiator to the case. I then fashioned a gasket from double sided foam tape to reduce vibration and create a better seal on the radiator. Once the all of the holes were drilled I was able to attach the radiator inside of the case by using the front fan and the short screws provided in the kit. u need to have a thin screw driver as you'll have to use the top hole to thread the screw driver and a pair of needle nose pliers come in handy to place and hold the screw in place until it catches .The rear fan was a bit more difficult as the holes that we just drilled are partially covered by the stock fan mounting location. So that required a trip to the hardware store to find some small screws to fill the bill. This part was easier with the rear fan removed as the holes were easy to see. Make sure that the screws that you buy are not too long or you will damage the fins on the rad, I had to trim down the set I got using a hacksaw and a vise. Depending on the head style of the screw you might have to file down some of the plastic on the rear fan to accommodate them for a flush fit. To attach the back fan I cut down some standard fan mounting (not the ones in the kit) screws so that they would only grip the case and not push on the rad. This left all of the top screw holes on the rear fan empty matching the front ones. I used the top fan mounting holes to attach a fan filter to avoid sucking in dust. This method meant that I could remove the filters and would never have to mess with the screws that hold the rad or the fans in place. You could make it a bit easier for you self and use the long screws but every time that you want to clean the filters you'll be messing with the screws that hold the rad in place and that was something that I was trying to avoid. I spent a bit more time on the mod to save time in the long run.
