The Graphene Flagship is ready to take graphene into Zero Gravity!
Graphene-coated wicks will improve the performance of loop heat pipes, used as cooling systems in satellites. To test these wicks in space-like microgravity conditions, researchers will experience weightlessness in a parabolic flight.
The experiments will be performed by researchers from Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), University of Cambridge (UK), Consiglio Nazionale delle Richerche (Italy) and Leonardo (Italy) with support from the European Space Agency and Novespace.
