Oslo, Bergen, fjords and rain - We start our 7 week Northern European adventure

Duke and I are on 7 week Northern European trip starting in Oslo and ending in Amsterdam. In this video we start our trip on BART to San Francico Airport. A fire on a train ahead of us causes BART to be shut down and we get to the airport by Uber. We fly to Oslo, take the Flytoget airport express to the center, meet our friends and explore Oslo. We visit the Munch Museum, walk on the Opera House roof, and walk around the Royal Palace.

From Oslo we take the train to the Flam railway, then a bus to Gudvangen. After exploring a bit of the beutiful fjord countryside we go to Bergen. In Bergen we stay near the Fortress Festival Grounds where the Feelings Festival is going on each evening. We also are right near the harbor and the Bryggen Wharf. We walk through the seafood market, visited the fortress museum and King Håkon’s Hall.

Finally we walk to the boarding point for our cruise up the coast. That’s where we will be in our next video.
