Looking to start your nursing career in Canada? In this video, we explore everything you need to know about Canada Nurse Jobs and the RN Registration process with BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives). If you're an internationally educated nurse, a future nurse aiming to immigrate to Canada, or a skilled nurse wanting to apply for RN registration in British Columbia, this video is for you!
We cover the step-by-step process of registering with BCCNM, including the essential requirements for nurses moving to Canada. If you're a nurse looking to work in Canada, a parent or spouse of an international nurse, this video provides valuable information on securing a nursing job in Canada, and the potential benefits of working as a registered nurse in British Columbia.
I'm not currently living in Canada. Can I apply?
*. The Inspire (formerly NCAS) application is valid for one year. If you're planning to move to Canada in the next year, visit Inspire's website to start an application. https://www.inspireassessments.org/br...
Do I need to apply to Inspire Global Assessments (formerly NCAS) before I apply to BCCNM?
*. Both applications can be started at the same time, but recommend you start with Inspire first.
*. Once you have submitted your application to Inspire, come back and start an application with BCCNM.
*. Recommended that you work toward completing the requirements for your Inspire and BCCNM applications at the same time so the application process moves as quickly as possible.
How much can I expect the registration process to cost?
*. There is a full list of estimated registration process costs on the IEN application page under "Important information before you apply".
*. The Inspire Global Assessments (formerly NCAS) application and BCCNM application will have no cost for applicants due to funding from the Government of B.C.
*. If you sign up for the B.C. government's Internationally Educated Nurse Bursary Program, the NCAS competency assessment fee will be paid by the Government of B.C. Other fees will be paid back to you. https://www.nursingjobsbc.ca/financia...
What is the Internationally Educated Nurse Bursary Program?
*. The Internationally Educated Nurse Bursary Program provides financial support to offset the costs of becoming registered as a nurse in British Columbia. Visit www.nursingjobsbc.ca to apply for the Internationally Educated Nurse Bursary Program, and learn about other services and supports available to you through Health Match BC.
