Part 9 in Life/Art Dance Ensemble's study of Baroque Dance and the Bach Cello Suites. This project, entitled "The Dance Suites," features Baroque-inspired dance and costuming and moves towards contemporary modern dance over the course of the first three Unaccompanied Bach Cello Suites. The costumes also deconstruct throughout the films. Be sure to view in their proper order! Please note, this project was created during the COVID-19 pandemic, therefore pieces featuring partner work were eliminated (this includes the Allemande for all three suites, the Minuets in the second suite, and the preludes of the second and third suites).
