Embroidery For Beginners • Stitching A Kit • Tracing Patterns • Using Printed Fabric As A Pattern

I simply love hand embroidery and I’m so excited to share how to get started in today’s video!
~ Basic supplies you’ll need:
Hoop (6 inch is my most used size)
Fabric (I like cotton muslin)
Embroidery floss (I like DMC)
Needles
Pattern
~ Using a kit is a fabulous idea for beginners. Most kits will contain everything you need to complete the embroidered projects! The "Blush Roses" kit was purchased from Walmart.
~ Iron on patterns are quick and easy to use. They come with a guide to your basic stitches and suggested colors as well. I purchased the cactus collection from Walmart.
~ You can find lots of great printable patterns on the internet and carbon paper helps to easily transfer the pattern to your fabric.
