Vung Tau! I've been here more times than I can count. Only a two-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City, and worth it! Cool beach vibes, fresh sea air, delicious food, real flying noodles, and wonderful, friendly people.

I had some downtime while acting in a movie, and I decided to explore the city once again. Found some local favorites this time, and I'm sharing them with you. Don't miss this underrated coastal city in Vietnam. Yes, it gets a little crowded on holidays and weekends from the locals driving down from Saigon, but don't let that stop you from enjoying the cooler weather. They are fixing up the Back Beach with more attractions and children's play areas. And for the adults, there are great restaurants and bars to enjoy the nightlife.
